(B) Lateral neck dissection was performed at the right neck, with minimal flap elevation over the thyroid cartilage. (C) During thyroidectomy, the recurrent laryngeal nerve (black arrowhead – distal portion, white arrowhead – proximal portion) was well-exposed and confirmed using intraoperative nerve monitoring.
